Anybody ever pay for a 3d print? I'm trying to get this FMAB automail arm printed, and the 3d file is like $26, which is reasonable, but the 3d print shops around here are quoting me $300-$1500 to get it printed. For that much I could buy a printer. Are there any reasonable places to get it printed, or is getting your own printer just cheaper?
