While this isn't a DSLR, it sounds like you're really happy with it! The term SLR reffers to the mirror action, not the shape or size of the device. Also, any non P&S camera will have removable lenses.

Oh that's really kawaii~ the sensor could be bigger, but it's a great start, I hope you have fun with the versatility! I've been trying to get my parents to buy themselves a mirrorless like that, maybe a MFT (I've enjoyed the NEX series), they're perfect for anyone that's really interested in LEARNING about photos, not just taking them.
