Having a tough time with this jacket.

I bought a sample of it, but the color was not nearly so dark. Is there a better word to search other than 'coated fabric'? I'm looking for super-thin fabric with a dark red leather finish on it (i'm going to applique it to the black). I know it must be out there, but I don't know what to search. "Vinyl" and "leather" just get me thick fabrics.

Help...?
