I was joking around with a friend about different novelty purses I could possibly find and somehow make into functional itabags, and then I came across this adorable apple purse on taobao. how difficult would it be to add some kind of metal hardware on the sides to string chains (maybe interwoven with fabric to attach pins) across the front?

or is this all just entirely unfeasible, and I should resign myself to totes and the like? the apple purse is just so neat, and it'd be a cute contrast with the character (fukutomi from yowapeda, who loves apples)... a part of me really just wants the bag anyway, but another part of me really needs to put the brakes on spending on character merch.
