the only part that's in close proximity to my body is the chest armor, but everything is double layered so I don't expect too many problems. Plus, above the main block, everything is skeletally structured to increase rigidity.

To make everything rigid on my body, I make a small base block (as I call them) through which to stick my limbs through. I make them just big enough to stick my limbs through but small enough that they don't bounce around. I then build everything around those blocks.
