Like honestly? I'd start with something of similar shape and start patterning off of it. It sounds silly but a bucket is really similar and something you can branch/pattern off of. After that, EVA foam and PVC pipe.


Okay, I'm planning to do a Demi-fiend cosplay and instead of bodypaint, I'd really like to do a bodysuit or very fitted top and leggings. Because 1 I'm a female and 2 it would be way more consistent. Does anyone have recommendations for this type of thing or a shop that does custom sub dye suits/tops?

nearly all of the ones I've contacted so far aren't taking commissions right now.

/v/ poster here, I plan to go as Demifiend (pictured here) And I am wondering what body paint would be best to use.

Preferably something that can wash off in 1-2 days and won't lay on too thick to give the appearance of tattoos.

I think i'm going to cosplay the Demi-Fiend at PAX East next year. What do you thing would work best for the tattoos? Also would having to much definition detract from the cosplay?

I just really want to see a genderbent DFC demi fiend now. You could strategically position some tattoo decals too, if you didn't want to get arrested for toplessness.

All the female demi fiends I've seen have worn black bras or something to cover themselves with, and their tats have been drawn on with permanent marker. So horrible.
