Might as well post mine.

>be in a taobao group order with a lot of people
>we're all really hype, start getting links together
>>cosplays, wigs, props, makeup, the works
>we all end up paying, the order totals to a LOT of money
>i put $100 into it which isn't as bad as some of the others did
>some of the people spent about $300 on the order iirc
>the person in charge (a friend of ours) gets all the money, pays the taobao agent and starts getting things going
>we all wait
>and wait
>and wait
>our collective faces when we realized we got gypped by the agent
>the friend in charge tried contacting them but they said it was on the way and never did jack shit
>it's almost been two years

Welp.
I have a minor story that worked itself out, so I might as well post it too.
>a couple of years ago
>see pic related online and buy it
>wait a few days for it to come in
>checking shipping status after classes
>says delivered
>aw yeah
>check door
>it's not there
>go to neighbour's house
>see my name on a package with the website I bought the DeLorean from on the box
>grab it
>go home
>open it
>it's fucking awesome
>display it on top of my display case
