You really want to see more Pokemon gijinkas? I'd honestly be so happy if all Pokemon gijinka cosplays were replaced by good cosplays of the human characters, there's many nice designs.

posted in the previous thread about fabric, now I'm back again with a design question.
For her skirt, I was thinking about doing a pleated circle skirt to get more of that flare it has. Should I go for 4 big inverted pleats in the front (I would have pleats all around the skirt but specifically would have 4 showing in the front) or should I try some big knife pleats?

What kind of fabric should I use for her dress? I was thinking of just modifying one of these patterns for it:

I know the patterns themselves have fabric reccomendations on them but I'm not sure what would give me the body for that flare in her skirt. Linen?

How would you guys recommend I do the weird butterfly collar thing she's wearing? I know I should sew something and stuff it but like, how do I get it not to flop over and stuff?

Any tips for the dress? I always have a really bad time with long sleeves. Does anyone know of a good pattern I can follow or should I draft my own (which I can do too)
