Okay first off, take a deep breath. You asked for an inexpensive dye and I gave it to you. Yes, it's a fiber/fabric dye, specifically for synthetics like a wig. It's a time true and tested method. There's thousands of videos of people using the dye if you want some reference. You monitor the color difference by: 1) using a test swatch of hair (just cut off a small unnoticeable piece 2) reading the label to find out how much dye you need to use and how long you need to keep it submerged in the dye

This is your most affordable option. If you're looking at having to buy another wig, then you have nothing to lose with trying this method. Just do your research before hand and don't speed through the process. Be calm and read the instructions thoroughly as with any project.
