I need others' opinion about how to do the trim on the bottom of Hanayo's skirt.

I thought of making my life "straight lines that seem to go on forever on a small surface" hell by getting the ribbon, yellow bias time and blue bias tape and sewing those all together and then sewing that on the skirt but I wanted to see if there was a more efficient way/another method? ;;
