*sigh* I want to say that I despair for the UK con scene, but there are days when I think it deserves everything it gets.

The cosplay scene becomes a laughing stock, allegations of pedophilia and just being a dick come left right and centre, our online forums turn into piles of horse manure in a matter of seconds, the snowflakes go apeshit when someone isn't buying into their shit and whips out the 'straight white male' insult.

We could take all of this stupid shit, put it into a rocket and shoot it into space where we'd never have to see it again......only it'd just reemerge when a new snowflake reappears moaning we didn't paint that fucking rocket in lgbt colours.

It's probably just my age and my cynicism talking here. I mean if I knew that the UK con scene would end up like this, I wouldn't have bought into it in the first place.

No decent cons this year means people will be scrambling to go to whatever cons are left in 2020, if the scene hasn't completely died by then.

Ugh, this all sucks, I need food to fill my huge stomach (I am, according to 4chan, supposed to be an ugly overweight pedo weeb after all).
