Where do you even start with make-up? I'm one of those weirdos who has no experience thanks to a life filled with butch lesbian parents.

My boyfriend always says I don't need it, but I'd like to pick stuff up for an upcoming meet (and the first one I'm getting to go to in this area), so I have no idea where to start - and when I have gotten help, I have trouble because I'm pasty as shit (and used to be in a mostly hispanic area).

Should I just go into Sephora and beg them for assistance?
