Trying to do Ozymandias as an EVA foam dipshit beginner.
Patterned pic related as a straight up rectangular bicep bracelet and cut it out using 5MM foam.
I intended to do this with the rectangle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ5NhDV-YBM and forming it to shape with a heat gun.
After doing what the above video does and before gluing/heat gunning it, trying to form the raw foam into shape doesn't make for a smooth circle, it juts out.
Trying to cut a little triangle to remove the points doesn't seem to be working

Please help this dumdum. Am I supposed to pattern this in a different way?
I legitimately don't even know what to google to solve this.
Getting super thick foam and just beveling it down would probably the the simplest solution, but I unfortunately don't have the time for that as I'm trying to get this done fast.
