I've been engaged for a year and want to get married this fall because I'm not sure my grandparents will be around much longer. The problem is I have no idea what a wedding is supposed to look like because I have no friends and have never been invited to one in my life. After the license, I don't know where to start when it comes to planning. I have no one to invite, either. Some of the people I follow on IG had lolita weddings with all their lolita friends and it just makes me feel sad. At least the virus gives a front for why my wedding will include no one but immediate family.

I think lolita weddings are cute, but I wanted more of a full gown for my own wedding. I did wear Moitié accessories for my “something blue,” though.
