/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

So, I just got into homestuck. Well I've been reading for a while because a friend got me into it, and while I'm still working my way through it I really like Rose and know I want to cosplay her at some point.

I came across this fan art floating around the interwebs of her god tier form, I know it really doesnt look like her actual outfit, well I mean it does and it doesnt it's fan art after all.

My problem is I want to cosplay it, and I know cosplaying fan art is a thing that happens and I like that cause theres cool fan art, but I dont want to feel like I'm 'sluttifying' a character because I just like this more intricate design. I was thinking maybe bring down the skirt some so it doesnt split quiet that high? I dont know opinions? I might just cosplay her regular god tier but I do really like this idea since I enjoy the idea of adding some detail to what are some very simple designs.
