VLR isn't as gory as 999 was - apparently some of the survival/horror elements scared off the Japanese audience. I don't believe there's any vomiting in it, either! That price is steep, though... maybe you could watch a Let's Play? I don't really follow youtube LPers but maybe there's one that's not too annoying. I got the 3DS version, which is mostly fine - look up the PEC bug if you end up getting it, though.

Oh man. I love ZE cosplay. I've done spoiler Zero from 999 and I'm working on something similarly spoilery from VLR... assuming I finish it on time. Time to start busting my ass on that shit. If you decide to cosplay Junpei or Lotus upload that shit somewhere! I get so stoked to see other ZE cosplayers.
