I think I can comb groups of curls together, but I imagine they'll come apart again really easily. Is there a product, a trick, maybe hairgel or school glue that I should use to keep the curls stuck together?

Pic related, the wig I'm using and the style I'm aiming for. I kind of decided on the style after commissioning the wig, so I'm going to stick with this wig and try to get it to look less fluffy.
