I always loved the lorica armor. It isn't in the least bit kosher for the safety standards i need in my group but my god i want to walk out just once in full roman kit gladius in hand and curb stomp someone with my scutum.

Sadly though, I can't do anything but shield bash (no aggressive striking with the edge) and would have to put a thrusting tip on a gladius that would sort of ruin it.
