Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that you're doing okay. I've been dealing with my Mom's passing for a long time now, but it still hasn't gotten any easier.

Long story short, my Mom passed away in March of 2010 & I spent my time at Anime Expo teetering between trying to not cry (because something would just remind me of her out of the blue) & being joyful (bringing a close friend of mine to her first Anime Expo & seeing my favorite band at the Nokia). Also on the third day, my boyfriend's car got broken into & that caused a lot of trouble for us. I honestly want to wipe that whole con year out of my memory it was so bad.
