How would I make Sanageyama's sealed eyes? With a see-through and removable blindfold.

I can make a pattern around my eyes to show when the blindfold is on, but then I have to wear a blindfold all day or it looks weird.

I can make a full pattern across my eyes with the blindfold across my forehead, but then open eyes with a "seal" across makes no sense.

Just blindfold - bound across forehead or somewhere when not wearing, across and -hopefully- see-through when wearing it, but then I'm missing the makeup and he doesn't wear the cover without the seal across his eyes.
