I'm going to be making the Kusuriuri from Mononoke, but I'm really conflicted on how to go about his kimono + obi. I'm not sure if I should use a cotton fabric or silk. Silk is pushing my budget, but it's more accurate to the time period. Cotton is in my budget and looks more like what he wears imo but isn't historically accurate.

Any advice or opinions is much appreciated!
