i'm so excited right now.

so i've been thinking of getting into lolita fashion for a few years now but have never had the money or time to do it until now, i just got a new job that pays really well and i'll be financially stable for the first time since moving out of my parents' house.
i live with my boyfriend and he's a little more traditional, he kinda knows my power levels when it comes to this shit but we never really talked about it before because i just didn't have the money to do any sort of decent looking jfash

so tonight i'm looking into what i want my first dress to be, and i feel a little nervous that this is going to be weird for my bf so i decide i need to have the talk with him
so i showed him some dresses and explained the different types and showed him some coords that i like and the style i want to achieve (i really like classic lolita)

and he likes it, he didn't jump up and down but he told me it was cool
i was expecting him to be a little weirded out at first but he wasn't at all and i'm really excited to get my first dress now and get all the things i want for my first coord!!!
