Thank you a lot anon!This post was really good to read!I miss the daily lolita LJ as well, also the older AP style with old school,solid creative dresses and prints without golden/chiffon details like Dreamy Dollhouse or the polkadot items.I love cutsews as well, i have 2 from AP and other two from Bodyline, wish people would wear them again they are so cute and casual at the same time. I'm still at university, hoping to graduate next year, i sell also items on Storenvy and sometimes handmade jewellry with polymer clay, i'm learning to use resin. Thing is... most people notice the negative instead of the positive. I see many going for the "someone that is like me" shallow-y like same music, same shows but their personalities are a big mess, they aren't a real match after all. Someone that is a bit different from us could be better matching even if we didn't go for him or her just for petty things but they were attracted each other. I learned this before, never judge a book by its cover! I'm glad you had a very good compromise with your bf, most people don't do it and they go for someone else because they don't work enough to understand differences and accept them rather than feeling disappointed. In my town there are few times guys with interesting haircuts but i love longer hair in guys, short short isn't my taste!I wonder if in the past old days of Lolita, people were more into lifestyle and also choosing the best "ouji" to match them. Or also nowadays is the same?
Have a cute coord, here how i would like my sweet lolita. Minus the bunny ears and simpler socks i would wear as casual. Busy coords aren't always stunning.
