This in short: >>10317869, but I have seen some people make or buy bags that would fit in character. For example, in pic related, the outfit does not have a bag, but this costumer decided to take the mascot character of the show and turn it into a fashionable little crossbody which I for one wouldn't feel the need to take off. Like the other anon said though, don't feel pressured to do so. Don't bring your normal sized shit to the con in your bag though. Downsize and carry only the essentials in travel size if possible.
