It's important to note that Jojo has a few things going for it that really hinder the possibility of a massive Hetalia/Homestuck/Titan-tier fandom cropping up.

It has a weird and eccentric aesthetic. Not to mention that the Anime plays with color and weird ways.

There are a ton of references that younger audiences won't get and the confusion over them will anger and turn away some audiences

It's confusing and full of plot holes, but at the same time, the canon is well established and leaves no room for headcanon and shipping bullshit.

The characters are all VERY distinct. Huge casts with wildly different characters of all kinds of cultures and styles and influences. Unlike SnK or Homestuck, the huge cast doesn't consist of a ton of characters all wearing a variation of the same uniform or design.

It can get rather violent and unpleasant in most parts. Blood, death, torture, random violence, and characters dying when you least expect it. SnK may seem pretty violent, but they established plot armor on all their important characters ages ago. The shock of people dying is lost when most have some sort of ridiculous Titan healing power or miraculous dodging ability.

Some people may try to the do typical fandom bullshit to Jojo, but it can't stick. Jojo is safe from the tumblr treatment.
