Anyways, I'd like to end on the fact that it's been mentioned upthread that the whole reason a lot of these asian-styled photos are so much more dynamic than their western-styled counterparts is because they're less focused on just the person themselves, and more on the photo as a whole. Even the shots that are closer up have a lot of thought put into lighting that highlights the mood or vibe, even if it puts some of the outfit in less detail. A photo where every detail of your costume and work stands out is frankly probably going to be really flat and boring looking to anyone besides yourself and others who are specifically interested in looking at the finer details of your craft.
