you have skills now, keep the focus on what you like rather than what makes you feel relevant. you will always feel happy doing what you like, but chasing relevancy will mostly frustrate your original goal of designing because its fun and an expression of you

fame is a problem that we have never fixed correctly, and the internet unfortunately makes the media cycle faster and more demanding.
people who are become famous for doing what they love manage fame differently than people who "achieve" fame as a social conquest, but both carry the burden of this a new relationship type that you don't have any control over. and that's BEFORE putting management and agencies into the mental/social mix.

doing what you love, getting good at it because it feels good to get better, these are lasting and fulfilling and totally respectable ways to share what youre doing with your community. people who get that will ALWAYS get that, that love never dies
