Sometimes I try to read Japanese websites and I noticed that coords like pic related are called casual lolita there. But Western lolitas don't call it that, I wonder why? Just a simple dress with only 1 petticoat instead of 3. Though I think this way of doing casual lolita is only acceptable if you also wear ''real'' lolita, and I wouldn't wear it to a meet.

My comm is quite OTT so I think it would be nice to embrace casual lolita more so newbies can see that OTT is not the only way to wear it, you can wear it when you're lazy at home or just going about your day normally. Of course, you can also wear OTT lolita when you're just having a normal day, but sometimes I see people complain that lolita is too uncomfortable or inconvenient, and I just think it doesn't have to be that way.
