How do you feel when female cosplayers are considered to be "fakes", deemed they must know nothing about comics, and are simply "fake geek girls"?

What do you think of girls who cosplay "slutty" characters without much (or any) interest in the actual series they're from?

How do you feel about female cosplayers who are subjected to a level of misogynistic outrage and harassment based on their outfit (whether they are actual fans of the character, or simply doing it for attention)?
