his giftees received shitty gifts, like the type you would get from a well-intentioned uncle who doesn't understand your hobbies. when people reacted (not the giftees as much as the lurking audience) to the really bad, cheap, non-jfash gifts, good old Uncle T stepped in to try to make things right. he admitted he made a mistake in participating in a community event he did not understand, and committed to learning more about seagull topics so he could re-send better gifts to his giftees.

he was a total bro about it and the makeup gifts were pretty great. it was nice to see someone fuck up really badly, but turn it around with a sense of humor and a real desire to make it right.
