Don't get me wrong, There are pics with those ruffle top socks, they seem to mostly be Swankiss shop girl photos though. So I guess my additional advice is, if you do a Swankiss style Larme outfit they would be great for that. Pic related - every single pic I have that features those socks is Swankiss (the top two rows). Bottom row is the type of ankle sock you commonly see in most other Larme photos.
