i think that cryptids are totally in the spirit of an itabag - you can passionately love that; it's specific enough that someone could reasonably have an obsession large enough to spend the time and money making an ita bag of it. kaiju, cryptids, maybe even specific animals or dinosaurs, that all seems reasonable. perhaps i'm biased, though.

a general food ita bag, on the other hand, does not seem like a real obsessive love, and more like something made just to be unique and get lots of attention. it's just plain silly.
