I always see posts on forums for people looking for photographers to shoot with. Help others find those who are great to work with and those who we should avoid.

Despite sorta-kinda agreeing with the rest of your post, I'm gonna stop you there. "Why Don't You Do Right," as originally performed by Lil Green and later by Peggy Lee, isn't about gold-digging. It's about finding what seemed like a sweet guy, only to find out that he blew his money on the 1920s equivalents of hookers and blow and that he plans to live off of the singer's money instead. During the great depression (the original song was written in 1936,) the female partner of a married couple was often denied work if her husband had a job (or even just denied because she was female.) So for the time period, the song actually makes a lot of sense. Considering the line involving gin and that prohibition was repealed only 3 years before, it would be like having a deadbeat girlfriend that couldn't hold down a job, but threw the occasional joint your way in hopes of pacifying you so you wouldn't dump her. In a way, it's a pre-WWII version of TLC's "No Scrubz."
