/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Fuck it, I'll bite. I've been lurking/commenting ever since the previous thread and it doesn't seem to have turned into a shit carnival yet.

This is the only cosplay/Jfash thing I have, unfortunately.

This was my first cosplay. I'm kinda 50/50 about it. I tried to put effort into the belt and bracelets because I felt like a lot of Yoko's I've seen completely neglected those, but it doesn't make up for the shitty wig and boots. I didn't know about clip-on ponytails or bootcovers at the time, so I seriously spent 2 hours getting that wig into a ponytail and another 2 hours looking for accurate boots for my sz12 feet, and eventually just gave up on both counts.

I've thought about revisiting it and ironing out the imperfections, but I feel at this point it's not even worth it, and I'd rather spend my money on more elaborate cosplays like the Eiryss I've been slooowly working on.

I haven't had the opportunity to meet her in person, but she certainly seems really kind and talented from what I gather of her on FB and DA.
