Does anyone have any favourite old EGL photoshoots? I came across this 2006 one purely by chance yesterday and I'd love to see more. It's heavily inspired by Moitie but apparently all handmade. I see one particular image from this set come up on /cgl/ occasionally but never any of the others.

It's true that ero has a closer resemblance to western goth than perhaps any other lolita substyle and therefore can be a bit of a grey area. However, there are usually a few key components that still keep it just within the umbrella of lolita fashion. It doesn’t look like 'typical' lolita fashion sure, and that's pretty much how it's always been. The less clear cut nature of ero has always rustled jimmies and caused endless debates since I can remember. So it goes.
