the perfect OTT coordinates were reserved for cons, photoshoots and occasionally meetups. even the AP clones back then weren't wearing that kind of stuff daily, just for occasional get togethers.

theres nothing wrong with being OTT every day if thats your style, but it wasn't the norm back then even though it represents that era.
