Pretty sure it's not transparent. It has spaces in it and the actual parts of it are stuck to her body. The only reason it might be shiny sometimes is her skin is just shiny sometimes. Anime does that.

Hard same, anon. I've always wanted to do Birdy, but I still feel uncomfortable wearing spaghetti straps or shorts above my mid thigh in public sometimes. I doubt nude mesh would ever have the same effect. A girl can dream though
