This is the inside the Pardmimenan jsk with the oversized plastic snaps that are a complete pita to use. There’s white dots all over the place, apparently just sewing the seams down caused the threads to pull out of alignment so the white fabric is showing all over the place.

Honestly at this point I have a feeling those girls who say “taobao is as good as brand” actually mean to say “ taobao LOOKS as good as brand. If you’re looking at a photo. From a distance. From pretty far away. And have no chance of ever handling the real thing”. These flaws are so irritating, but they wouldn’t show up in photos, so you’d think the dress is gorgeous and all, except irl you know for sure the fabric quality is much lower, and while you're paying maybe $100 instead of $300, you can only be sure the dress looks good on its first wear. Anything after you try and wash it seems like a huge gamble. (Though again the white dots probably won't show up in photos so I guess taobaolitas don't care).

Glad you appreciate. I just mainly feel like someone needs to point out exactly what is what. I'm still buying taobao, and I don't mind the expense, but at least I'm doing it with my eyes open and not on the basis of some nooblets going on about things they clearly don't pay attention to.
