Casinos make me sad, and they reek of cigarettes. I'd never wear something so shiny and happy in any of the casinos I've ever been to, but it's the people that make me sad.
I'm imagining the same clientele of all casinos in your casino, and the juxtaposition is really just making it worse.
Grannies with tobacco lungs looking haggard, camping the rilakkuma machines, playing their pennies with stony patient despair. Other people losing everything on the Japanese Idol tables, the artificial taste in the air, the bright lights and cute noises making a din.
Now I have to go eat something sweet while I take a bubble bath to help me forget that.
