please reconsider. they do not go well as often as people say they do. look, i doubt you will listen to me but i have to say this, i cannot read your post and say nothing in good conscience.
Before you do that, do the following things;
Spend 2 months (or more!) off all social media and the internet, as much as you can.
Climb a mountain, if the weather is good, climb another one- experience hardship in nature, camp in bad weather and survive it.
Consider that changing the outside changes NOTHING on the inside, and, if the surgery goes well, after the initial euphoric period fades, you will find that you have the same feeling as you did before, be it either side; desire to be something you are not, or revulsion with your current body, it will return.
Look up the stories of de-transitioners.
Consider also that we all go through phases in life, only difference was, in the past those phases were expressed in less permanent ways; a bad haircut or dodgy wardrobe was easily reversible once you grew and changed as a person because you will, i guarantee you, change over time. I am fundamentally the same person i always was, but I have overcome many insecurities and most importantly; THE WAY I WANT TO EXPRESS MYSELF HAS CHANGED DRASTICALLY OVER TIME- and I never thought it would.
