I really like the late 00s version of casual sweet lolita, which is basically cutsews/T-shirts and hoodies worn with a shorter puffy skirt. I love the AP parkas and I love it worn with OTT sweet-era AP skirts. I much prefer this casual approach to the "cardigan and non-print tights" version of casual that ends up veering more otome. I think it's the best way to incorporate prints and bright colours and still look like a casual sweet style.
