You know what I don't get about J-Fashion? (Besides the fact that this girl looks like she's 8 years old and that creeps my shit out.)

That looks like shit. The whole concept of it. The sweater is cute, but you say the boots are cheap and they're the most interesting thing on the outfit. The skirt looks like it's from Walmart.

Why is it that Lolitas are huge label queens?

Most of the outfits you guys post up that you pay hundreds to thousands of dollars for I could make not only cheaper/prettier/custom fit, but they'd be better made. And don't go crying "but the prints", because there's tons of custom fabric online that's still cheap and wonderful. (Then again I don't just make costumes, I tailor real garments. But you guys could easily learn to do that?)

I'm just curious why Lolitas don't just learn to sew. It seems like they have solid opinions on what they like and don't like.
