Of course oldschool-style outfits can look like shit, that's where the bxw=ita stereotype came from in the first place. But imo if someone has only been in the fashion for a few years and thinks something like pic related or >>7796309 is ita, they can fuck right off back to where they came from.

My other unpopular opinion is that people who have only been involved in lolita for <4 years or so are still relatively new. That doesn't mean they can't be good dressers or know their shit but whenever someone goes "I'm not a newfag! I've been into lolita for two years!" I just can't help but roll my eyes at them.
