not all photographers that label themselves "professional" are good, though. If you have a piece of paper, but not the eye for what you're doing, pictures turn out shit anyway. A friend of mine studied photography MBO and while she was pretty good before that in my opninion and grew from there on out, a lot of her classmates made pure shit.... Rather have a hobbyist that has great work and really the insight for photography make pictures of me than some person with just a little piece of paper but has a tasteless portfolio. Not a fan of overexposure, she takes a ton of overexposed pictures, it's a no from me.
