The dense cushioning inside of sofa cushions, chair cushions, etc. They're not just filled with stuffing like that of a bed pillow, right? it wouldn't give you any support. So foam is used. Foam is just a porous polymer that has a spongy feeling, but with very tiny holes. Foam can be bought at craft or fabric stores. Fursuiters and mascot makers both use foam to create their suits/mascots, as it's light and can be pinned, carved, or folded into place as needed to form shapes.

Okay, sorry but I have a really dumb question.

How do you see out of some of these masks?
Especially ones like these:

Is it through the pupils in the eyes, or are there slits where it isn't obvious, or what?
