Kotaku and other sites only nominate cosplays that are relevant at the time, so I see why cosplayers try to be first so they get noticed, but it is a peeve of mine as well. It's what people want to see though so that's just how it's turned for pop media. Coswhores turned the hobby into a business and cater to the fans as advertisement. Thanks Yaya.

She makes pieces of her costumes like any other cosplayer and most cosplayers have the decency to style their own wigs too which she doesn't even do, see HOC. Without her helpers she'd be nothing. Stop bending backwards for these coswhores.

Anons complaining which is easier art or cosplay. Both need years of practice before being able to master but the problem here is that coswhores are taking short cuts, and don't even pay for their own tools or materials, most of which is barely needed anyways because the most popular cosplays always end up requiring next to no materials kek. You fucking can't tell me Jnigs hot gluing shit to a bra or a bikini is just as easy as art, if that were the case, she wouldn't be commissioning so much from her personal artist. She'd draw herself, but she can't. Even Yaya gave up years ago. Nice try jelly cunts who can't draw for shit kek. Maybe pick a "career" that isn't solely about selling yourself?
