It was my very first cosplay I ever made from scratch! First thing I ever really sewed too, so making a hakama was a reeeeeal challenge. I plan to redo her at some point, but I think I might just buy a hakama and alter it instead because holy shit it was hard to make. I did it in three days though, so.. Yep!

First time using a sewing machine and first cosplay. Of course I choose to do hakama.

I have deleted all photos I have of the whole outfit, but just imagine a horrible clusterfuck of a badly made long tulle skirt in black and a black normal skirt on top of that with a pirate blouse, Hot Topic gloves, and a black corset with victorian black pirate-esque shoes and a cane.

Holy hell. This thing was a trainwreck and I thought I was so cool wearing it.

I made mine from an edited kimono pattern, but I made the hakama pants out of wrapping paper as its pattern. I plan to remake this, but mind you this was the very first thing I had ever sewn. Probably should've stuck with something a little simpler, but I really wanted to cosplay Himeko.
