I can bet there will be due to Hiveswap. Given how long awaited the game has been and the amount of hype, I'm assuming there'll be a boom. Retired Homestucks might come back momentarily to enjoy the game, and new Homestucks will probably join. All I'm hoping for is that it won't get as bad as some of these other video game fandoms. (Or, worse than it was during its peak. We're still talking about Homestuck, here.)
