i'll always be annoyed at really amazing art/designs not getting funded bc they had to be crowdfunded, but shitty designs getting produced at no risk because the artist cna use mommy and daddy's money. With enamel pins it's especially infuriating - why the fuck should anyone pay $10 each for one of these when you can get a bunch of far cuter and better designed ones on taobao/aliexspress for under a dollar?

It was frustrating seeing the charm market being flooded with artists who are too dumb to realize they should meet a certain quality standard before they start making merch, and it's doubly so for this enamel pin fad.
