This might be more of a horror story of craziness than a feels story but I still feel the feels of this event to this day...

Cosplay-related vent allowed?

So my SO and decided to cosplay together for the first time. At first we aimed for a couples cosplay but because of appearance and laziness, he decided to do someone that I can't couple with.. unless I pull a huge amount of effort + money. So, no couples cosplay. I'm a little sad, but no big deal, we'll have a fun ole time anyway.

Then he teased me about stripping for other girls in the series instead (in character). Ha ha, funny, SO! Then he said that if we had a hotel room, we could totally do that threesome we've talked about.

I have mild anxiety and am recovering from self-worth issues. I am still not comfortable with having another woman in the bedroom. I've told him this plenty of times, and I usually avoid bringing it up because it only ends in him calling my worries silly and generally being insensitive as I withdraw into myself. A lot of the times when he thinks my thoughts are stupid, he gives me almost bullet-pointed reasons. I just want.. How is that supposed to make me feel?

I told him, 'yeah, I thought of that too,' while wondering what else he would say to make the con even more not at all the immature fun times I'd envisioned.

Sorry for the long rant. I'm just upset that he said no to an outing a while ago and he rubbed salt into the wound. Like usual. Maybe I shouldn't suggest places to go anymore.

I've got a con coming up in a month and I am a part of a Shingeki group, but I've sort of lost motivation and I am worried people think I am going to look too fat for the character I'm cosplaying.

I am so jealous. I want to be living like her. I'm just so socially awkward and not the person I want to be.

I'm not in a bad position, but I would much rather look like Nana Kitade or Kyary Pamyu Pamyu than look like me. Fuck looking like me. I can look sexy if I really tried, but I just want to look cute. And I can't do that. Fuck.

both fantasic dolly set in red and honey cake op set in yellow went on auction the day after I promised my boyfriend I would buy him a camera. I'm sure if I had asked I could have used the money to buy them instead...but I did the right thing. it still blows though.
